Information   Feininger´s work is a characterized by the separation of the subject into prismatic facettes where the broken light is captured in muted color. It seems as if the pictures are seen through a crystal, brightly transparent and de-materialized. Feininger taught from 1919 – 1933 at the Bauhaus Weimar and Dessau.
